A Mother's Day Poem
Mothers are the silent unspoken heroes of our world.
They are made of compassion, love, loyalty, faith and hope.
To be a mother, you don't necessarily have to give birth.
I've witnessed the act of motherhood displayed through sisters, grandmothers, aunts, teachers, and yes, even in the form of a man.
You simply need a lot of patience, nurturing instincts, and lead through a heart that bleeds unconditional love.
I mean, look at Mother Earth, the quintessential care giver of our universe.
No matter how many times she is broken down, she continues to hold us in her light. She breathes new life into everything thing that’s been torn apart, and recreates beautifully new beginnings that can be classified as art.
